WORLD TOILET DAY

Access to water, sanitation and hygiene is a human right, yet billions are still faced with daily challenges accessing even the most basic of services.

World Toilet Day, celebrated on November 19 every year, is about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, which promises sanitation for all by 2030. On this day, we say THANK YOU to our customers for your commitment to tackling the global sanitation crisis by providing safe, clean sanitation facilities in our local communities.

Did you know?
•    3 in 10 people lack access to safely managed drinking water services.
•    About 3 billion people lack access to basic sanitation services, such as toilets or latrines.
•    More than 80 percent of wastewater resulting from human activities is discharged into rivers or sea without any treatment, leading to pollution.

Imagine daily life without safely managed sanitation. A toilet is not just a toilet. It’s a life-saver, dignity-protector and opportunity-maker. We must expand access to safe toilets and leave no one behind.
